In the present and emerging scenarios of Networks, a full understanding of networking fundamentals and the ability to configure and troubleshoot networking devices is crucial. This course provides the knowledge of the processes involved in passing traffic through Layer 2 switches and routers and the services provided by these devices. It provides practical training in installing, configuring, operating and troubleshooting Ethernet LAN Switches and IP Routers, for small to medium sized Switched and Routed Networks.
EXPECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
⦁ Implement and troubleshoot a CAT6 cabling infrastructure for Ethernet Networks
⦁ Install, configure & maintain SME Ethernet LAN switches
⦁ Install an extended Ethernet switched network with VLANs
⦁ Identify and resolve Ethernet connectivity issues using protocol analysis
⦁ Perform Network Protocol analysis by capturing Network Traffic
⦁ Implement VOIP on Ethernet LAN
⦁ Implement IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN
